Catholics and Political Responsibility

The organization Women for Faith and Family has compiled a list of resources "to provide an informative aid for Catholics in discerning the issues involved, and in forming a basis for decisions to support candidates for office who work for legislation consistent with fundamental moral law consistent with Catholic teaching." These sources include quotes from key Church documents, statements from individual US bishops, and other helpful links.

Women for Faith and Family has for its purpose:

• To assist orthodox Catholic women in their effort to provide witness to their faith, both to their families and to the world.
  
• To aid women in their efforts to deepen their understanding of the Catholic Faith.
  
• To aid faithful Catholic women in their desire for fellowship with others who share their faith and commitment.
  
• To serve as a channel through which questions from Catholic women seeking guidance or information can be directed.
